In February of 2002, Tina and I took a naturalist-oriented tour of Costa Rica under the aegis of the World Wildlife Fund and run by Lindblad Expeditions. Tina had always wanted to visit Costa Rica, and when the WWF offered this trip at a significant discount, we jumped at the chance. (If nothing else, we'd be warm in February!)
