Mom was very anxious about meeting Dad's parents. She brought her brother Normand (standing in the white suit) and his wife Ethel (seated in front of Mom) along as chaperones and for moral support. The other young woman is my aunt Lucienne (one of Dad's sisters).

Mom and Dad were married on August 3, 1936 and a new page in history was written. A lifetime of anniversaries and memories. My brother George and I were very fortunate to have such wonderful parents.
